Transparent QR Code Generator free
A standard QR code comes boxed in a white square, which clashes with anything that isn't a white page. A transparent QR code removes the background entirely, so only the code modules remain — ready to drop onto a colored flyer, a photo, a product label, or a dark-mode website without an ugly white patch. You get it as a transparent PNG for direct use, or as an SVG your designer can recolor and scale freely.

Where people use it
Designed print materials
Place the code over brand backgrounds and textures on posters and flyers without a white box.

Blend the code into label artwork so it reads as part of the packaging design.
Dark backgrounds
Use a light-colored code with transparency on dark websites, signage, or apparel mockups.
Frequently asked questions
Which formats support transparency?+
Both downloads here do: PNG carries an alpha channel for direct placement, and SVG has no background by default and can be recolored in any vector editor. JPG cannot be transparent.
Will a transparent code still scan on any background?+
Only if there's enough contrast. The code modules must clearly stand out from whatever sits behind them — avoid busy photos or backgrounds close to the code's color, and test-scan the final design.
Does the transparent download cost anything?+
No. Transparent PNG and SVG downloads are free and carry no watermark.
